The Palmetto Charter Network Fall Leadership Conference will be held on Sept 10-11, 2010. Titled, "Bridge Over Troubled Waters: Solutions & Opportunities for Charter School Leaders”, this year’s conference is intended to support charter school leaders, teachers, staff, and institutions committed to providing alternative and diverse educational programs through charter education, with the goal of improving student achievement. This two-day event will draw more than 600 attendees, including leaders of South Carolina charter schools and major South Carolina businesses, board members, and educators who work for, and/or on behalf of our charter schools. Numerous educational workshops, seminars, sessions, and panel discussions will focus on a broad spectrum of charter school best practices geared to help our schools not just survive, but thrive during these economic times. Significant state educational leaders will be showcased including the candidates for SC Governor and Superintendant of Education.
