A message from the Chairman of the Board:

It was good to see so many of you in Columbia at the conference. Since the conference, several charter school representatives met with Rep. Phil Owens to discuss potential revisions to the charter school law. Information will be sent as we gather it from the meeting.

This is a follow-up to one of our sessions on finance. We discussed the monthly financial newsletter posted by the State Department. This months newsletter explains the 4% cuts, contains IDEA and audit information, and mentions the ARRA funds. There are a couple of items about the consolidation of funds as well.
